Day 5: Now we're Sevillians!

Today, we packed our bags, and we were off to Seville. We first walked to the train station and got past security pretty quickly. After that, we boarded the train. There was a big foldable table and a nice soft seat. We finished some work, ate a croissant, and played Candy Crush. Once we got off our train, we went to our very nice 4-floor apartment in downtown Seville. The first floor had an empty pool and a bedroom with a bathroom attached. The second floor had a full kitchen, a dining area, and a comfy living room. The third floor had three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The last floor had a washing machine and led to the terrace, which had beautiful views. After the apartment manager left us, we went for lunch and had pizzas and tapas. Afterward, we chilled out for a while and settled into our apartment (when we arrived, the cleaners were still cleaning the apartment). We then went for a little and had a yummy chocolate crepe with gelato. We also had a waffle with drizzled chocolate an

Day 6: Last Day In Bled

Today was our last full day in Lake Bled. We first went to the Blejski Grad (commonly known as Bled Castle), ate some world famous ice cream, then got on a road train around the lake, and finally on Rikli’s Barefoot Trail.

First we went to Bled Castle. We saw a printing press, a forge, and a small museum showing some artifacts found in the castle and how Lake Bled was made. The views of Lake Bled from the castle were amazing!

Next, we came down and went to the Hotel Park Cafe to eat some world famous ice cream and their award winning flavour: Sladogled. It is chocolate and vanilla ice cream with nuts and berries.

After this, we rode a road train that goes around the lake. It was beautiful! We saw Bled Island and the scenery from all different angles. We saw water slides going into the lake, and some areas sectioned off for swimming.

Next, we went to the pool. There was a really cool water slide and the ceiling was glass. You could see leaves whipping around as it was raining. It was nice to get away from the heat!

We finally ate some dinner, and went on Rikli’s Barefoot Trail. Arnold Rikli was a Swiss natural healer. He used natural resources and therapies to help his patients. One of them was walking barefoot for no longer than 15 minutes on various objects.

The Trail was very unique. First, you had to walk on gravel, then moss, river stones, stepping stones, pine cones, tree bark, dewy grass, and then I needed to hug a birch tree! It was very interesting, but it felt really nice and cool.

Today was our final day in Bled. Tommorow, we will go to various caves and go back to Croatia. We will go to Rovinj next!
