Day 5: Now we're Sevillians!

Today, we packed our bags, and we were off to Seville. We first walked to the train station and got past security pretty quickly. After that, we boarded the train. There was a big foldable table and a nice soft seat. We finished some work, ate a croissant, and played Candy Crush. Once we got off our train, we went to our very nice 4-floor apartment in downtown Seville. The first floor had an empty pool and a bedroom with a bathroom attached. The second floor had a full kitchen, a dining area, and a comfy living room. The third floor had three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The last floor had a washing machine and led to the terrace, which had beautiful views. After the apartment manager left us, we went for lunch and had pizzas and tapas. Afterward, we chilled out for a while and settled into our apartment (when we arrived, the cleaners were still cleaning the apartment). We then went for a little and had a yummy chocolate crepe with gelato. We also had a waffle with drizzled chocolate an

Day 7: From the Mountain to Underground And Back

Today, we ate a good breakfast and checked out of Sava Hoteli Bled. Then we went to Straza Bled and went tobogganing there. It was really fun! The speed and the drops were really exciting to go through.

Next, we went to the Postojna Cave entrance, but because of the long wait (about one hour at least) we bought tickets an hour ahead and drove to the Predjama Castle. We heard that the castle on the inside is really boring, so we clicked some pictures and went on our way.

We drove back to the entrance just in time and took a train into the cave. We got off and started our tour. The stalagmites and stalactites were beautiful and even cooler, the pillars created from both icicle shaped rocks. We also saw a really cool animal called the human fish.

The human fish is an amphibian which spends most o of its life underwater. They are the mascot of Slovenia and can live up to a century like humans can. They can live for up to a decade without eating which means they only have to eat 10 times in their life to live a healthy life. Their BPM is one per minute and they are pure white in color. Finally, you can’t take any photos as they can die from light.

We finished the tour and got into a different cave, this time a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Ć kocjan Caves. There was no train, just walking around. We learned about the cave and the saw the beauty of the place. Something really cool was the old tourist paths that got destroyed in the 3 major floods from the River Reka that flows in the bottom of the cave and magically disappears underground in the cave.

When we got back to our car, we drove to Rovinj, Croatia and into an Airbnb. Today was a great day.
