Day 5: Now we're Sevillians!

Today, we packed our bags, and we were off to Seville. We first walked to the train station and got past security pretty quickly. After that, we boarded the train. There was a big foldable table and a nice soft seat. We finished some work, ate a croissant, and played Candy Crush. Once we got off our train, we went to our very nice 4-floor apartment in downtown Seville. The first floor had an empty pool and a bedroom with a bathroom attached. The second floor had a full kitchen, a dining area, and a comfy living room. The third floor had three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The last floor had a washing machine and led to the terrace, which had beautiful views. After the apartment manager left us, we went for lunch and had pizzas and tapas. Afterward, we chilled out for a while and settled into our apartment (when we arrived, the cleaners were still cleaning the apartment). We then went for a little and had a yummy chocolate crepe with gelato. We also had a waffle with drizzled chocolate an

Day 8: “Sun, sea the arena!”

Today, we woke up and went out for breakfast in Rovinj. We found a restaurant called Restaurant Marula. We got some crepes (they call it pancakes) and omelettes. The food was good and delicious!

Then we went to Baker Milinar to get some croissants. We got six plain, two chocolate and one cream roll.

We also shopped in Rovinj. We bought some clothes, souvenirs, food, and cosmetics.

We went home and did our laundry. In the US, you have a washer and a drier, and then you fold the clothes up. But, not in Europe! You need to first use a washer, then hang up the clothes on clotheslines and then take them off when dry. Then you fold them up.

We watched a movie and relaxed after finishing the laundry and in about two hours we went to Pula. Pula is a city in Croatia and it’s famous for its arena in the center of the city. The arena looks like the colosseum in Rome, but the sixth largest in the world, second largest in Europe, and the only one which its walls are preserved on all four sides. We loved the views and then we headed home.

We then looked for something to eat for dinner. We found a restaurant named Resturant Marina and there was a live concert and a sunset next to it. We checked it out and it was really nice. Rovinj is known for their sunsets, so we knew it would be nice. And it was! The food was also legendary. We ordered a cheese ravioli with truffles, a cheese pizza, bruschetta and lava cakes for dinner.

Finally we went back to our apartment and had a good night’s rest.
